Who do I call for police assistance?

Police protection is provided by the Sanilac County Seriff’s department. 911 is active for emergencies only. Call the sheriff at 1.810.881.5991 and ask the dispatcher for other security matters.

Who do I call for a fire or medical emergency?

Fire protection and Emergency Medical Service is available by calling 911. Extensive fees are charged for these services.

What about non-emergency situations?

For non-emergency situations (ex. parking violations) call the Sanilac County Sheriff at 1.800.881.5911.

Who maintains our beaches, stairs, and jetties?

Beaches, stairs, jetties, the Lexington Heights Clubhouse and parkways are maintained by Lexington Heights. We can assist with these issues.

Who should I contact for water or sewer questions?
